These cameras are beautiful in their two realms. A folder is beautiful in that it flattens into such a compact pocket-sized little machine - so portable - but then opens with the fanfare of expanding bellows, and the lense moving into position...so poised for action. Something aesthetic about that transition. 

The rangefinder also has it's unique style. It has everything built-in, always ready for action. In its time, the rangefinder was a dream for photographers. The act of focusing was almost automatic relative to what had come before...so sharp, so immediate.
